Ben momenteel de serie The Offer aan het kijken, making of The Godfather, vaak beschouwd als de beste film ooit. Heb em toevallig vorig jaar nog in de bios gezien, toen ie 50(!) jaar oud was. Met iemand die em nog nooit gezien had, wat ook een erg leuke ervaring was. De serie is goed gedaan, hoewel hier en daar wat langzaam. De druk van de echte Cosa Nostra, gedoe met de studio, issues met casting en zelfs het eruit snijden van de hele Sicilië scene. Het is een wonder dat de film in deze vorm verschenen is!

While Coppola continued to push for Pacino, the studio screen tested a number of young actors including James Caan, whom Coppola wanted to play Sonny, and Martin Sheen.
