Lang gehypet, maar nu dan eindelijk te zien, de Game of Thrones prequel, House of the Dragon is vorige week begonnen. Over het algemeen zie ik goeie reviews, zie Metacritic. Ik moet wel even wennen, bij Game of Thrones had ik de boeken al gelezen, dus wist je ongeveer wat ging komen. Het boek Fire & Blood heb ik niet gelezen. Bij GoT waren ook veel meer verschillende families en verhaallijnen uitgewerkt, wat hier niet het geval is, de focus ligt primair op de Targaryens. We gaan zien hoe het zich ontwikkeld, ik ben iig voldoende geboeid om nog even door te kijken.

Daarnaast begint op Prime binnenkort de Lord of the Rings prequel Rings of Power. Schijnbaar de duurste serie ooit gemaakt. Amazon bought the television rights for The Lord of the Rings for US$250 million in November 2017, making a five-season production commitment worth at least US$1 billion.
Dat is niet mis. Ik hou de verwachtingen laag, maar ik ga zeker kijken zodra de eerste aflevering online staat.
